For the week of December 5th through December 11th the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 11 calls.

December 5— Dispatched for an activated fire alarm at Spring Village Nursing Home on Township Line Road.
December 6 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated carbon monoxide alarm at a home on Weber Drive, near Ramsey Road. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on North Crescent Boulevard, near Edgewood Road.
December 7 — Dispatched for a special assignment to assist the squad with a patient at an office building on Township Line Road.
December 8 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for a special assignment to assist the squad with a patient at Manor Care Nursing Home on Oxford Valley Road. The second call was for a possible electrical fire in a home on Rose Hollow Road.
December 9 — Dispatched for three calls. The first call was for an activated carbon monoxide alarm at a home on Cold Spring Avenue. The second call was for a dwelling fire on Kings Road, near Queens Drive. The third call was for a mutual aid assist to Falls (Station 30), for Rescue 0 to respond for an apartment fire at Alexandria Apartments, on Plaza Boulevard.
December 11 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Amber Drive, in the Dolington Estates development. The second call was for burning electrical wires on a pole in the area of South Main Street and Mahlon Drive.
